ZUMBA®THE ORIGINAL DANCE-FITNESS PARTY

 

Are you ready to party yourself into shape? Forget the workout, just lose yourself in the music and find yourself in shape at the original dance-fitness party. Zumba® classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats. Before you know it, you'll be getting fit and your energy levels will be soaring! It's easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating.

 

BARRE

 

Most barre-based classes use a combination of postures inspired by ballet and other disciplines like yoga and Pilates. The barre is used as a prop to balance while doing exercises that focus on isometric strength training (holding your body still while you contract a specific set of muscles) combined with high reps of small range-of-motion movements.  Also, I like incorporates light handheld weights to bring the burn during all those reps, as well as mats for targeted core work.

 

DRUM CORE

 

This is a rockin' class!! Need more squats, side-bends and ab-work in your life?

 

This full-body cardio jam session, combining resistance with constant simulated drumming. The workout fuses cardio, Pilates, isometric movements, plyometrics and Isometric poses into a 55-minute series. Burn between 400 and 900+ calories per hour, strengthen and sculpt infrequently used muscles, and drum your way to a leaner, slimmer physique – all while rocking out to your favorite music!. *Yoga mat required.

 

PILOXING BARRE 

 

The world famous fusion of Pilates + boxing has taken the world by storm. In this game-changing new program, PILOXING goes to the BARRE. PILOXING BARRE is high energy yet focused - fluid yet Powerful. In this 45 minute cardio program, you lengthen, you strengthen, you box, you sweat.

 

BEYOND THE BARRE PERSONAL TRAINING

 

These are personal training sessions using barre format and or TRX resistance straps to target the little muscles we forget we have.  Be prepared to use light weights, TRX, as well as doing planks, mat Pilates moves.  

 

**all classes are 55 minutes with the exception of Drum Core and Piloxing Barre (45 min)

BIO

Danielle has been teaching fitness for over 11 years.  She took her first step when she walked into a Zumba® class back in 2010 and was instantly hooked and got licensed soon after.  As much as she loves teaching Zumba® she wanted to expand her fitness knowledge. In 2013 she got her Group Exercise Certificate as well as her license to teach Barre. Zumba is fun and exciting but Barre has her heart and just loves to mix things up to really get a full body workout.  Which is why when she discovered Piloxing® Barre she was so excited. Danielle, also likes to create fun and new ways of teaching, so she took her love for Barre add some drum sticks and call it Drum Core (everyone is a rock star in that class).  

Watching people stay dedicated and reaching goals has been such a joy for Danielle.  She has helped people lose weight and tone up, whether its for a wedding, a vacation or for someone ready for a life change.  Nothing has been more satisfying to know that you made a difference.
